Wye Valley Precision Engineering Limited is fully committed to providing suitable resource to enable it to meet its responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all associated protective legislation, both as an employer and as a Company.
To achieve this objective a member of staff is appointed to promote Company Health and Safety based on the OHSAS 18001 Standard, to keep workplace Health, Safety and Welfare procedures under review and to liaise with the HSE wherever necessary: keeping the Company aware of new legislation, EU Directives and regulations, to ensure ongoing compliance with the Company’s legal obligations.
The main responsibility lies with the Chairman, with all members of the Management Team being responsible for their own departments and in turn reporting to the Chairman.
All employees agree, as part of their contract of employment, to comply with their health and safety responsibilities and duties and co-operate with the Company to enable it to carry out its health and safety duties.
